Home insurance
This is a crisis. No one should be driven from their home because insurance is too expensive.
On my first day in office, I will bring the Homeowners’ Defense Act to the floor. This bill will bring down the price of home insurance by pooling risk across states.
My opponent, Brian Mast, has no plan to solve the home insurance crisis. He has taken over two million dollars from big developers and insurance companies. He works for them, not you.
Home insurance is the most important issue facing our community. I will not rest until the price of insurance is reduced.
Waterways
Florida’s waterways, reefs, and woods are central to our livelihood. Locally, I will fight for our communities against special interests like sugar, utilities, and phosphate mining companies. Unlike my opponent, I will protect our waterways with my vote in Washington and I will not take money from any of the polluters hurting our community.
Reproductive rights
Abortion is a tough thing to do, but ultimately politicians should not be making this decision for a woman.
