Treasure Coast Vets Rally to Support Governor Walz Military Service

Will you help defend Governor Walz from Rep. Brian Mast? Come to Stuart’s Memorial Park at 3 pm on Wednesday, August 28.

The Palm Beach County and Florida Democratic Veterans Caucuses will be there along with Congressman Tim Mahoney and Democratic candidates Thomas Witkop and Debra Tendrich. They will speak with the press and voters to take issue with a letter signed by Rep. Brian Mast accusing Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz of “egregious misrepresentations” of his military service.

We need your help to defend Governor Walz. Everyone is invited, but it is especially important that veterans come to this event. Mike Richmond, a proud veteran from Jupiter, will also be speaking there. He recently said, “I served 3 years in the Marine Corps and when I heard what Brian Mast had to say about Walz I was absolutely shocked. And for anybody to disparage veterans and gold star families like other candidates are doing is just terrible. It’s disloyal and I’m opposed to that and proud to support Thomas Witkop for Congress.”

Witkop is the Democratic candidate for U.S. House District 21 in the Treasure Coast and northern Palm Beach County, and Tendrich is the Democratic nominee for Florida House District 89 in central Palm Beach County. Tim Mahoney is a former Congressman who represented the Treasure Coast.
